These videos are from the Greater Manchester Police Awards Ball in March 2011, at Manchester Town Hall. The band was booked as a 7 piece, with a two piece horn section (Sam Healey on Sax and Russell Bennett on Trumpet), and the lovely Toni James was drafted in to sing with us, ESPECIALLY for the evening.
The Coolers in the studio May 2011
The five clips below where very kindly provided by Marlyn Productions. The 3 top ones where from a wedding in August 2009 at the Statham Lodge Hotel, the other two show the boys performing at a wedding in March 2004 at Shrigley Hall featuring none other than former Take That, Texas and Wet Wet Wet drummer Steve Washington!!. both weddings were a tremendous success.
Sweet Home Alabama The Lynyrd Skynyrd classic is one of the Coolers main tunes to get a night really under-way,
Never Too Much Luther Vandross at his best, the band love this tune.
Message in a Bottle by The Police, look out for John being completely uncomfortable in front of the camera, not at all like Roger, shrinking violet that he is!! great Kenji solo also.
For those who have an IPAD or IPHONE - we have put the tracks in You Tube format for you, the quality is slightly less but they work on all formats.

Purple Rain This was the bride and grooms first dance of the wedding. Although the band love to get their crowd really going, they are as comfortable playing slower songs from their huge selection of songs. Watch out for Jasper's Prince-esque solo!
Superstition
The Stevie Wonder classic, and one of the bands favourites. Watch our for an inimitable solo from Kenji, and the band effortlessly changing from 'Superstition' to Kool & the Gangs' 'Jungle Boogie' and then back again.
